Please be sure to read over this entire page and all entry requirements and rules. Any questions can be sent to the National Breed Warden.

You can fill out the entry form while online. Then proofread, print, sign and mail it to the USA office.

If you do not live in the United States or Canada, please include with your entry the name and contact information (phone & email) of someone living in the US who can be contacted by the USA office on your behalf concerning your entry. You may consider faxing your entry and paperwork to your friend and ask them to mail it to the USA office. It is hoped that by utilizing a friend in the US, your entry won't be so dependant upon the cross-Atlantic mail service.

Note to all exhibitors: Please bring your original registration/pedigree to the show. If you have not received your original yet, ask your registry organization to provide you with a letter stating that the registration is in process.

Note: Definitions of Hip Ratings listed on entry form:
Please circle either
"a" stamp
and rating 1 (normal), 2 (fast normal), 3 (noch zugelassen)
or
OFA
and rating E (excellent), G (good), F (fair).

It is advised that after you fill-in the entry form that you proofread it for errors before printing and sending it in to the office.

Please mail your completed entry form along with copies of the required paperwork (listed below) to the USA Office. Remember to send in your entry fee also. Sorry, there are no refunds for dogs entered in the show.

Note: It is best to mail your entry using a delivery confirmation method. You should also send a short email to the USA Office so they know to expect an entry from you. The email should contain the following information and sent with a Read Receipt (do not expect the office to reply to your email):

  1. The date the entry was mailed.
  2. Full name of dog entered.
  3. Class that dog is entered in.
  4. Dog's registration number.
  5. Name of the dog's owner.
  6. Best working phone number and email address of dog's owner (this is so the office can contact the owner if the mailed entry is not received in a reasonable amount of time).

NOTE: The USA Office is short staffed this year so please mail your entry using a "must sign for delivery" method. This will put your mind at ease and let you know that your entry was received by someone at the USA Office.

2) Original SV/USA Pedigree or USA Pedigree OR proof of SV/USA registration or USA registration (letter from USA stating the paperwork is pending or processed).
3) Scorebook, if any titles earned.
4) Proof of hip certification if hips are certified.
5) Proof of Breed Survey if already breed surveyed.
Working Classes
(Entry into class is based upon age of dog, working title requirement and USA registration requirement.)
1) Proof of current vaccinations.
2) Original SV/USA Pedigree or USA Pedigree OR proof of SV/USA registration or USA registration (letter from USA stating the paperwork is pending or processed).
3) Scorebook showing proof of accepted working title.
4) Proof of Breed Survey if already breed surveyed.
5) Proof of hip certification if hips are certified.

Attention:

  • USA Registration Requirement: All German Shepherd Dogs shown a the USA Sieger Show in classes 12 months and older and whose owners reside in the United Sates must be registered with the USA/SV or USA only Breed Registry. Proof of USA/SV or USA only registration must be submitted with the entry form. Click here for more information on registering your dog with USA. You may submit your dog's registration application and fee with your entry.
  • Working Title Requirement: All German Shepherd Dogs entered in the Working Classes must provide proof of a USA recognized training title at the time the entry is submitted. Titles submitted with the entry are the titles that are recorded in the show catalog. Any titles a dog earns after the entry is submitted will be recorded in the updated information used in the ring and in the final show results, as long as proof of the title is brought to the attention of the show secretary at check-in time.
