This is an overview map from Burbank Airport to Bakersfield. The trip is approximately 100 miles. Once you reach the town of Castaic (on map, just above Santa Clarita) you will be one hour from Bakersfield.
Depending upon time of day, it will take you 45 minutes or more to get from the airport to Castaic. When planning your travel time, please take into consideration rush hour (heavy traffic) times, usually 6 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 6 pm.
Complete directions Burbank airport to host hotel:
- Once you are on the road leaving the airport you will turn LEFT (north) onto North Hollywood Way.
- You will travel approximately 1 mile untill you see the freeway onramp for I-5. Take the I-5 North freeway onramp to get onto I-5.
- You will travel approximately 72 miles until you come to the split for I-5 and Hwy 99. Take the Hwy 99 North split.
- Just after you pass over the Rosedale Hwy take the exit for Buck Owens Blvd. The exit puts you on Sillect Avenue. The first stop light (a very few yards off the exit) is Buck Owens Blvd.
- Turn RIGHT onto Buck Owens Blvd. The intersection has the Crystal Palace across the street to the SE and next to that is of course, the Best Western Hotel.
