Karen currently lives in the New England
State of Vermont. She has two sons, ages 9 and 12, who keep her
very busy. |

She is a business owner of Consumer Products
E-Commerce and Intellectual Property. And after 18 years, she retired
as a Principal Hardware Design Engineer in Networking for Digital
Equipment and Field Apps for Cypress Semiconductor. |

Her formal education includes a Bachelor
of Science in Animal and Pre-Veterinary Science from University
of Vermont (1978), a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
equivalent from University of Vermont (1981), and a Masters of Science
in Electrical Engineering from University of Massachusetts at Amherst
(1988). |

She became a USA Conformation Judge
in February of 2001. |

Karen has recently applied to the USA
Trial Judge program and has apprenticed her first trial. |
