Gina Kasbergen Subject: k9 Officer Chris Ward Message: Dear Mr. Grewe, I just wanted to get back in touch with you regards Officer Chris Ward, who was so kind and compassionate to rescue my little 5 month old Zaoa (she placed VP 10 in the show the next day.) I left Saturday morning as I was just too overwhelmed with the whole situation of nearly losing her, so I missed the remainder of the show. I will be composing my letter of recommendation to his Captain, but wanted to ask of you if you had any suggestions as to what would be a suitable gift for him and his awesome dog. Bite sleeve, any training articles ??? He obviously really loves his dog. Officer Ward mentioned that he'd heard about a show puppy falling in the canal and knew you were one of the judges and knew of the show from you surely. So, I consider myself extremely lucky for this connection. I believe he would have gone no matter what the pup was. Show or mutt dog... After his duty shift at 2am Officer Ward went looking in the fenced areas and found her!!! Just a miracle. I would recommend anyone into dogs and showing attend the Sieger show. I left tired and happy and with many new friends! On a side note, I felt there should have been a professional photographer at an event of this caliber. |
